After receiving his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, Marc was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He attained the rank of Captain before retiring in 1984 to begin his second career in the financial services industry with Robinson Humphrey on Hilton Head Island. In 1991, Marc established a local branch office for A.G. Edwards & Sons, serving as its manager. He later went on to join UBS, opening its Hilton Head branch and serving as branch manager for both the Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head offices. In 2009 Marc joined Merrill Lynch where he spent 11 years.
In 2020 Marc became the founder of Atlantic Investment Advisory Group and today, with more than three decades of financial industry experience, Marc has a clear understanding of how global economic events and changing markets can affect portfolio outcomes. In this environment, he feels it’s prudent to work closely with a financial advisor – someone who knows you and understands what you hope to accomplish with your wealth. An empathetic listener, he can translate complex issues into easy to understand language.
Marc lives on Hilton Head Island. He has two sons, Creighton and Christopher. In his spare time, Marc enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren. Very community oriented, he has served on numerous boards in the area; to include Hospice Care of the Low Country, The Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island, and the Town of Hilton Head Parks and Recreation. He currently serves as the Chairman of the United Way board.
